FHT Diploma in Nutritional Advice for Complementary Therapists
Do you get frustrated listening to your client’s health problems, hearing all about their poor diet and wish you could advise them? Well then this course is for you! The FHT course in Nutritional Advice is an intensive insight into the world of nutrition and the importance to health. The course is more science based and explores carbohydrates, proteins, fats, water, vitamins and minerals in-depth to enable students to fully appreciate the relevance of these to the human body. The course also considers the digestive system and elimination systems of the body (hence Anatomy & Physiology is a pre-requisite to this course). It explores toxins in the growing of food, food packaging, and environmental factors which affect health. It considers using food as medicine instead of being reliant of pharmaceutical drugs to remedy health problems. This course will be interactive, encourage lots of group discussion and involve plenty of activities to consolidate your learning.
