Reiki is a natural healing energy which revitalises the body and mind.  Rei means ‘Universal’ and Ki means ‘life force energy’.  Over time our natural energies become depleted due to our busy and stressful lifestyles.  Whether you need an energy kick start, some relaxation therapy or some healing to lessen the symptoms of an illness Reiki could be for you.  During a treatment Reiki energy will be channelled into you via my hands at specific body points called chakras.  Chakras relate to emotional and physical aspects of your well-being.  You will remain fully clothed for the treatment and could feel hot or tingly sensations.  Most of all you will feel deeply relaxed.  Reiki is safe for everyone.  It is suitable for alleviating the symptoms of mental and emotional illnesses such as stress, depression and anxiety, and physical ailments such as broken bones, arthritis, heart imbalances, back problems ... the list is endless.  It can even be used to treat plants and animals.
