Reflexology

Reflexology  60 minutes  £30

The feet (and hands) are like maps of the body and are home to 14,000 nerve endings. Reflexology activates the healing powers of the body by stimulating these nerve endings, encouraging healing and re-balance where needed.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy which works on reflex points in the feet and hands to stimulate healing and re-balance within the body.  Gentle stimulation of certain pressure points can relieve stress, heal our organs and re-balance our hormones.

Benefits of Reflexology
- re-balances our hormones
- increasies immunity
- reduces stress and induces deep relaxation
- improves circulation
- relaxes the digestion system which in turn encourages better digestion
- stimulates the cleansing of toxins eg. liver, colon

It may help the following health problems:
- PMT, menopausal symptoms, infertility
- ease the pain of certain diseases, general aches and pains, sciatica
- help to eliminate persistent colds, flu, headaches
- insomnia,
- digestive issues (constipation), bladder and kidney problems
- and much, much more ...

The feet are maps of the body!  Reflexology is a form of holistic massage which manipulates reflex points on the feet which correlate with areas of your body which may be under par and need healing.  Each foot is split into five zones and a treatment involves applying gentle pressure to these zones followed by applying pressure to set points on the feet which mirror parts of the body.  Reflexology is a deep form of relaxation so is great for treating stress, anxiety and depression.  It can also help to heal physical ailments eg. if you get frequent colds, headaches, digestive problems.  If you are suffering with a long term disease Reflexology cannot heal you, but may help to relieve symptoms of pain and improve your general health.
